Cultural Fiesta – ‘Your ticket around the world’

The return of UQU’s Cultural Fiesta on Tuesday 3 May, means the return of your one-stop shop for some coconut realness!

----------------------------- THE FOOD-------------------------------

If you thought last year won your stomachs, come down and feast your eyes on the sensational island cuisine that will be on offer. At an affordable price, this year is like no other – so bring your mates, your wallets and your appetite.

Here’s what we will have on offer:
Otai (Tongan style Watermelon Frappe w/ Ice cream)
Oka (Samoan style Raw fish in Coconut Cream)
Palusami (Fijian style Corned Beef, Coconut Cream, and Taro Leaves)

There will be many performances throughout the day, but don’t miss the UQSPIA spectacular you’ve all come to know and love at 1:20pm on the main stage!

Take part in the cultural festivities for the chance to learn about new cultures or score the perfect photo-op;

- Photo booth sponsored by the Afghan Students Association
- Dance classes with the Indian Student Society
- Chance to get a henna tattoo with the Bangladesh Association
