UQ Social Sciences Association

We will be hosting a social science discussion night in week 6, on the 13th of April at 5:30pm. This event is open for all and designed for you to meet new people (and catch up with those you met at the Pizza Party!) and to debate and discuss social science related topics (which we're sure you're all passionate about!) in a friendly environment.

The main topic for the night is universities and Australian history - this article gives you some background. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3514529/University-students-taught-say-Australia-invaded-Captain-Cook-instead-discovered.html. We have a few other topics lined up, however feel free to bring your own topics and questions to debate!

Please feel free to join us for some food on campus after the discussion night is over - or to continue your debates over a pizza! You can click attending or email us at socialsciencesassociation@gmail.com to confirm your attendance or ask any questions about the night.

Event held in room 222, Building 78
