"I'm doing this really cool degree... but I have no idea where to take it"
"There are so many career options - I need to find out more"
"I'm not sure where I'll end up working yet"

These may very well be the thoughts running through your head as a social science (or related discipline) student. They're completely normal, but what's more is that the Social Sciences Association and the School of Social Science have found a way to help you with your future plans - by presenting to you the aptly named Futures Forum.

The Futures Forum allows you to listen to industry professionals speak about where their organisation employs social science students, or how they came to be working in social science (or how they've used their BSocSc degree). It's a great way to get a better idea of the possible pathways to take in your future, and you can even network with the speakers over (free!) pizza at the end of the presentations.

TL;DR
Come along to learn about possible future career pathways in social science. You'll get free pizza and go into the draw to win a lucky door prize(!!!!)

Event is free but please RSVP here to secure your seat: https://survey.its.uq.edu.au/Checkbox/2016-Futures-Forum.aspx
