When:
18 September, 2016

Location:
St John's Cathedral, Brisbane

Organised by:
UQ Pride Alliance PAL

As part of the 2016 Brisbane Pride Festival, St. John's Cathedral is hosting several events to support and welcome the diverse in gender and sexuality community (DiGS).

On Sunday, September 18 there will be a community afternoon tea which will provide a wonderful opportunity for people throughout the community to celebrate and acknowledge love in all its forms, and in particular the love between people who do not always receive acceptance for their choice of partner.

This will be a chance to meet and greet old friends and make several new friends, to chat and socialise in a totally safe, secure, supportive and non-judgemental environment.

There will be an opportunity to view the Cathedral, either on a guided tour at 15:30 (3.30pm) for 45 minutes or wander more informally around the only stone vaulted Gothic Revival church building in the Southern Hemisphere.

And enjoy a delicious afternoon tea - all for free!
