UQ NAMSA 2016 Annual General Meeting (AGM)

Nursing and Midwifery Student Association NAMSA
Our AGM is upon us, so it is time to recap the year's events and elect our new executive members for 2017.
If you're organised, commited, fun, and are down to meet lots of people and make lots of friends then make sure you apply! (To say you held and executive position looks great on your resume).
The positions up for grabs in 2017 are as follows:
President: (Oversees all activities of the club, spokesperson for the club, ensures all tasks are being completed, chairs the meetings)
Treasurer: (Dealing with all the money, creating and paying invoices, preparing budgets, keeping track of all financial transactions for the end of financial year audit)
Secretary: (an organisational role involving planning general meetings, taking the minutes from these meetings, sending emails, maintaining the membership and ticketing portal)
Social Officer: (In charge of creating and marketing events; helping with planning of events i.e. ball, pubcrawls; creating or sourcing artwork for cover photos or posters; running and maintaining our Facebook page)
Professional Development Officer: (Liasing with professional companies, sourcing grants and sponsorship, organising professional development events and information sessions)
General Officers: Open to anyone that is happy to help in times of need (sausage sizzles, fundraisers, help with marketing and advertising)
Come along to the meeting to have your say in next year's team, have some free pizza, and then join us at the Red Room afterwards for some drinks on us!
