At the heart of digital marketing lies data-driven insights and results. Last semester we brought to you Google Adwords, and now we're bringing you Google Analytics! It's time to get Analytics Certified!

Google Analytics is a free service that provides data-driven insights, statistics & SEM (search engine marketing) info. Google Search accounts for over 95% of total search volume so analytics & big data is at the heart of the digital revolution.

Google Analytics has a heap of uses, from where to find your best customer are coming from, what people are searching for on your site, ranking marketing content, and what campaigns bring in the most traffic to your site. Analytics can be used from blogging and social media to big business.

The event will be run over two nights:
Workshop: Wednesday 31st August 6pm-8pm - Sir Llew Edwards Building Room - Room 219
Hosted by Search Factory's Head of Digital, Christopher Catchpoole, the first night will be a crash course into understanding what analytics are, why they are used, how to master the Google Analytics platform and what you need to know to pass the Certification Exam!

Exam: Wednesday 7th September 6pm-8pm - Sir Llew Edwards Building Room - Room 219
Our second night will be focus on taking the Certification Exam, using the skills you learnt during the first workshop!

Tickets:
We're doing things a little differently at this event. We're charging a $20 deposit to secure your spot, but on the night of the event, we will reimburse this in cash so the event will technically be FREE! (bar the transaction cost)
