Following the ‘International Day of the Girl’ on October 11th, VGen and Girl Rising are partnering to present a screening of the film ‘Girl Rising’ at Macquarie University.

On the night we will be joined by a Girl Rising Youth Ambassador, Michelle Stevenson, World Vision Youth Ambassador Parvathi Subramaniams, and other special guests (yet to be confirmed).

Educating girls can break the cycle of poverty in just one generation, yet millions of girls aren’t in school. ‘Girl Rising’ uses storytelling to inspire action that gets girls into classrooms worldwide.

This is an exceptional film and one NOT TO be missed. If your life isn’t changed we will give you your money back…(jokes, it’s free!!!) This event is open to all, invite everyone and anyone to come along and be truly inspired on a Wednesday night!
