Ready for round 2?? Wanida is running another kickass Street Fusion class this Sunday and is ready to teach us some awesome choreography!! It was great to see you all getting last week’s choreography and adding your own sassy flare to it! � This is an opportunity to learn choreo from an experienced and talented dancer so we highly recommend both beginners and experienced dancers check it out! We look forward to seeing you all there!
Make sure to bring along your UQ Street Groove membership card to show to our executive members at the studio and don’t forget water or a towel to beat the heat!
Don’t forget, you can still sign up for membership at the door! Most buses to the city will get you to the studio.

======| WHO IS WANIDA |======
Wanida’s professional dance career started in 2010 while she was training at Raw Dance Company. As well as becoming a well versed dancer in styles such as Hip Hop, Jazz, & Dancehall, she has successfully gone on to became a freelance worker teaching for companies such as Mad Dance House, Elements Collective, Bust a Move Dance and Queensland Ballet to name a few. She has a love of street dance and has continued her own training here in Brisbane, and in 2014 & 2015 in LA. She was also the 2014 Dance Director at Shaffer’s High Sierra Camp during her time in California.
Her biggest achievement to date is her independent theatre production ‘Shade: A Visual Art & Street Dance Collaboration show’ which she not only created but directed, choreographed and performed in both 2015 & 2016 shows.
Her choreography work consists of private and corporate events such as The Dizzy Feet Foundation Gala run by Nigel Lythgoe & Adam Shankman. She also Co-Choreographed for Special Olympics LA Celebrations at USC and UCLA, Musician ‘Bec Laughton’ live performance and Brisbane Broncos Cheersquad/BAMD performance at Suncorp Stadium.
She has extensive performance experience including back-up dancing for Jessica Mauboy & Ultranate, featuring in film clips for Rise at Night & Bec Laughton, and danced for companies such as Puma, Rebel Sport & Brisbane City Council. She was also an official dancer for the Brisbane Heat T20 cricket team for 2 seasons as well as competing in multiple All Style battles around Brisbane.
A powerful dancer and performer; Wanida is passionate about supporting her community and pushing the boundaries of live street dance through her production 'Shade'.
