Make sure to bring along your UQ Street Groove membership card to show to our executive members at the door and don’t forget water or a towel to beat the heat!

======| WHO IS HIROKI |======
Hiroki "NaCarter" Nakata is one of Street Groove's treasured dancers and a busybody on the Brisbane/Gold Coast dance scene. Starting off popping, Hiroki eventually moved over into house, urban and freestyle dance styles, representing his gold coast crew and taking part in many battles and workshops run by great house dancers including Orb, Tomomi and Che Pritchard. He also teaches urban/house classes for ‘Dance Skool’ on the Gold Coast. Hiroki has been an active member of Street Groove since 2013, running house dance classes and performing as part of the Street Groove Performance Crew. In 2016 Hiroki has stepped up to the plate as Crew Manager.

======| FREESTYLE JAMS |======
One whole class just isn’t enough?? Well stick around afterwards and join us for another hour and a half of freestyle jams. It’s open for everyone to attend, Street Groove member or not, so come along, chill out and have a good time. Learn new dance techniques from one another and practice at your own pace to some funky beats. The jams so far have been off the charts!
