UQ Chess Club's End of SEM1 Tri-Uni Tournament
4 June, 2016
Hawken Engineering Building (50)
UQ Chess Club
Semester is ending and to celebrate all of our hard work and weekly chess nights we're having the End-of-Sem tournament pitting UQ vs QUT vs Griffith students before SWOTVAC gets the best (and worst) of us. There's only a small entrance fee for which we'll be providing pizza, drinks and cash prizes. We encourage you to invite anyone who would be interested even if they're not studying at uni.
As in previous tournaments we're catering towards both experienced and beginner players so that the matches will be challenging. Therefore, during registration you'll be required to tick-off which category you belong to. Typically a beginner is a player who is either inexperienced or doesn't hold a rating.
