Did you know, that as of 2013, 168 million children worldwide are engaged in child labour?

The ILO defined Child Labour as “work that deprives children of their childhood, their potential and their dignity, and that is harmful to physical and mental development.”

Your favourite coffee, chocolate, clothes and other products might have been a product of child labour exploitation. You can help end child labour through understanding where these products have come from and challenging manufacturers to seek and share that information.

Come to our stall at Union Court on the 18th May for more information on your favourite clothing manufacturers and coffee wholesalers so that you can become #ethicalconsumers.
We will be giving out FREEEEEEEE fair trade hot chocolate to warm your hearts up in the lead up to exams and because 'Winter is Coming' ;) All you have to do is bring your own mug OR if you are too lazy and forgetful to do that, make a post to social media supporting Fair Trade Fortnight (we will have ideas and templates ready to use for posts on the day).
