AfSA understands the importance of mental health and recognizes the fact that it is often those most vulnerable who do not have enough knowledge and awareness of mental health issues and their impacts on every aspect of life. As part of the 'Rushd' or growth workshop series, this workshop focuses on mental health issues and stigma within the Afghan community whilst incorporating education with activities for the Afghan youth and immigrants. The workshop will focus on post- traumatic stress disorder, trauma, depression and anxiety.

The session will be run by academia's and professionals working in the mental health field.

-FREE OF CHARGE EVENT!
Refreshments and snacks will be provided by AfSA on the night.

HOWEVER, we will accept cash donations towards our Orphanage Sponsorship Fundraiser on the night also :)
