Shab e Dostan 2.0 is here!! The event was a huge success last year being a finalist for 'best event of the year award' at UQ and this year we plan on making it even bigger, better and more spectacular!!

***Shab-e-Dostan means "The Night of Friends"***

With plenty of Afghan food, culture, music and dance being showcased this is not an event to be missed! What you can expect on the night:
• Live acts and performances
• Plenty of afghan music and dance
• Massive Attan performance (Afghanistan national dance)
• Dinner = 3 course meal
• Plenty of Qabulli, chai & other drinks/refreshments, our 1 year anniversary cake and of course everyone’s favourite... Mantu!!!
• Vegetarian options also available

-Doors open at 5.30pm
-Event starts at 6pm
-Doors closing strictly at 6.30pm
-Event ends at 11pm

Cost:
Early bird Member tickets: $20
Early bird Non-Member tickets: $30 & includes 1 year AfSA membership

-No children allowed at the event.
-There will be security on the night and we ask that you are respectful of everyone else by not filming or taking photographs of others without their permission.

This will be a charity event as we have decided to donate 50% of the proceeds to Zam Zam Water. For those of you who are not familiar with Zam Zam Water, they are a humanitarian organisation devoted to eradicating poverty by providing clean and sustainable water to villages across Afghanistan and other regions of the world. The money you pay for your ticket will be your contribution specifically going towards the Afghan community project which aims to build homes, provide water, shelter, and electricity for an entire area of land that is otherwise uninhabitable in Mazar E Sharif, Afghanistan.
