The current downturn in the resources sector has reduced the opportunities available for young chemical engineers to follow a traditional technical career path. However, the versatility of a chemical engineering degree provides equally attractive career paths into alternative fields, such as finance, insurance, and risk sectors. Our panel speakers, Damian, Karen, and Dallis, are great examples of what can be achieved outside of engineering, and will present their experiences in moving away from engineering into their current fields. The evening will give you a chance to meet, interact, and network with the speakers, as well as to learn from them.

Damian Lillicrap, Head of Investment Strategy, QSuper
Karen Taylor, Senior Project Manager, QSuper
Dallis Raynor, Principal Risk Consultant, Xenith Consulting

Hosted by the Joint Chemical Engineering Committee and ChESS UQ
