If you are in your 1st or 2nd year of uni at UOW, then this is for you. This not only for engineering students. Anyone with the passion for engineering is welcome!

What is it? - The line following robot building workshops and comps is an event that runs from week 3, friday, till the end of session, week 13. Two hour workshops will run every week on fridays, where the participants will be given all the material needed to put together a small bot, and also will be given instructions on how to program it's brain(The Arduino board) to follow a black line. Participants will take part in these workshops as teams of 2 or 3. In week 12 the teams will race their bots with each other for prices. If you are passionate about, engineering, electronics and coding you are welcome to sign your self up for this workshops. Its a lot of fun, you will get to meet a lot of cool people, and work with them as a team and get some hands on experience with some basic robotics.

Some knowledge about coding will be helpful, but if you don't know much about it don't stress too much, the instructors will help you to get over it. This event will allow you to get an isight how importnat electronics and coding is important for a robot.
