Room 20.5

Organised by:
UoW Mathematics Society

NOTE: This event is not being held by the Maths Society. It's being held by SMAS.

Hi all,

The School of Mathematics and Applied Statistics (SMAS) is hosting a student “development and networking” workshop at 12.30pm on Friday 3 June in room 20-5.

The focus of the event is to highlight Summer Intern and Scholarship opportunities for Maths and Stats undergraduates. Four students will give an insight into their experiences in Summer 2015/16.

This is a very informal event, with the aim of encouraging students to investigate opportunities during their undergraduate degree. Although the session is targeting first and second year students, later year students are welcome to attend.

It is also an opportunity for students from different years to interact and share experiences. Plus it is the last day of session, so why not share your lunch break with students from SMAS!
Lunch will be provided - please register through the link

by 5pm Wednesday 1 June, so that we have an idea of numbers for catering (and dietary constraints).

Hope to see you there!
