WITS is running a Seminar on the Final Frontier of Computer Science, This week Professor Aditya Ghose will be doing a discussion on the P versus NP problem, Informally speaking, it asks whether every problem whose solution can be quickly verified by a computer can also be quickly solved by a computer. Over the duration of this talk it will also address interesting questions arising from human computation, social computing and the connections between literature and the development of computational artefacts.

Following the talk will be a pizza (lot's of pizza), drinks and social banter.

Aditya Ghose is a Professor of Computer Science at the University of Wollongong, where he heads the Decision Systems Lab and co-directs the Centre for Oncology Informatics.
