When:
14 May, 2015

Location:
moot court, bld 67

Organised by:
Law Students Society

You are cordially invited to come along and see UOW's finest 'mooters' battle it out for the all important, expenses-paid trip to ALSA (Australian Law Students' Association) - not to mention getting their names engraved on the shiny new shield.

This is a great opportunity for anybody considering entering the mooting competition throughout their degree to come and see how it is done at a senior level. (Looking at you, Junior Mooters!)

The case at bar is a tortious one, involving a young lady suing a supermarket after she slipped on a slushie spill, who then sustained further injuries as the ambulance she was travelling in was hit by a car, and then who was further injured AGAIN by the resulting surgery... Woah, unlucky.

Counsel for the Appellants: Samuel Bargwanna and Marcus Vella

v

Counsel for the Respondents: Olivia Yeatman and Stephen Meechan.

Presiding over the moot will be esteemed NSW Crown Solicitor, Daniel Byers.

Light snacks available.

Please support UOW Competitions. See you there!
