Interesting lecture content and standard bio labs. Worst part is the large focus on enzyme, cofactor and molecule names; means that you'll be mostly rote learning for the exams.

Very interesting and highly organized course. The course coordinator sets the assessments out pretty fairly and all the content learned in lectures is linked to each other some way or another. There are also revision lectures to help you in understanding any content you may have trouble with.

This course can be enjoyable if you listen to instructions carefully, don't ask ridiculous question and not expect to be spoon fed. Although that may sound horribly tedious it actually helps you develop skills needed in higher difficulty university courses and in future job prospects. Just make sure you follow assessment guidelines to the 'T' or it will reflect harshly in your grades.

Content was pretty interesting, but course coordinators were generally unhelpful and they did not give us proper marking criteria for our assignments... it lacked detail... it was just really basic. Needless to say, a large majority of us didn't perform well. I should have done this course when Anne Galea was still apart of it! Learning outcomes don't even reflect what you learn in the lectures. Don't do this course unless you absolutely need it.

Generally good but the course coordinator was very unorganised which made it a bit more difficult than necessary to get assessments done.
