Faysal Ishak Ahmed died on 24 December after collapsing in the Manus Island detention centre.

As with Hamid Khazaei and Reza Barati, the responsibility for his death lies with the Immigration Department and the Minister for Immigration. He was denied medical care despite continual requests. Only the day before he collapsed, 60 fellow Sudanese refugees signed an urgent letter to medical staff requesting medical treatment.

Join us to remember Faysal and to demand that refugees and asylum seekers on Manus, as well as Nauru, all be urgently brought to Australia before there are any more deaths.
