What is LawPLUS?

LawPLUS is a peer mentoring program designed to assist students in adjusting to university life and the unique experiences of law school. The program is a joint initiative of the UNSW Law Faculty and Law Society, and aims to support new law students by organising regular group meetings, social events and skills workshops.

As a mentor, you will be responsible for running small group meetings with a co-mentor, and fostering mentee interaction by creating a welcoming and friendly environment. It is a fantastic opportunity to develop a wide range of leadership skills and meet new people. LawPLUS is also a recognised activity within the UNSW Advantage program and your participation will be included on your official co-curricular statement.

Selection process
The selection process to be a 2017 LawPLUS mentor will consist of two rounds: a written application and a group interview.

Written applications close on Sunday 11th December 2016 at midnight. You will be notified by email with the outcome of your written application by late December.
