Location:
The Whitehouse

Organised by:
UNSW Law Society

The UNSW Law Society will be hosting its annual "Drinks with the Judiciary" event on Monday 29th August at 6pm at The Whitehouse, UNSW!

It's a fantastic opportunity for you to mingle with the judges who write the judgments you've pored over all semester (...or not) and talk about what social justice means in our courts and communities. In addition, there will be a chance to meet with barristers highly experienced in legal advocacy.

Our special guests for the evening include Judge Dina Yehia SC who grew up during politically tumultuous times in Egypt before beginning as a public defender and becoming the first female to be appointed Deputy Senior Public Defender, and Mr. Jay Williams, a barrister who has represented asylum seekers on Nauru and Manus Island.

So come have a drink on us-- and did we mention delicious delicious Whitehouse pizza?!

Registration is free but essential. Places are limited.
