Elizabeth Broderick AO is Australia's longest serving Sex Discrimination Commissioner (2007-2015) and a former partner at Ashurst Australia where she was the head of legal technology. She has also served on a number of boards and was appointed an Officer of the Order of Australia in 2016 as well as being named NSW Australian of the Year. Elizabeth completed her LLB at UNSW Law and she holds an Honorary Doctorate at UNSW.
We will be talking to her about her career to date, work and challenges in her role as Sex Discrimination Commissioner, transferrable skills between the private and public sector, the value of public interest work and her views on the future of the legal profession.
