Organised by:
UNSW Law Society

The Baker & McKenzie National Women's Moot was introduced in 2011 by Sydney University Law Society, in conjunction with the NSW Young Lawyers Special Committee of Law Student Societies. It is aimed at addressing the equity issues facing women at the bar, and is currently the only national moot in which all competitors must be female. In 2015, the team from UNSW won the competition.

LawSoc will select one team to compete in the 2016 competition, comprising 3 members. All members of the team must be female. Teams may either allow all three members to have speaking roles, or designate one member as a 'team solicitor'.

- LawSoc will pay the registration fee
- As the competition is held in Sydney, no other subsidies are available

The key dates for this competition are as follows:

Applications open on Friday 5 July.

Problem question released in mid- August.
