Are you a current 3rd year (or a very keen 2nd year)? This event hopes to inform you on the best strategy for approaching potential research supervisors and locking down a project that is right for you.

Our speakers will include students that have completed their research projects with great success or that have come against great challenges. From their own experiences they will be able to impart sage advice on how to ensure you have the best ILP or Honours year possible.

Even for students that have already locked in their supervisor this night will provide a better idea of how to effectively deal with your supervisor. It will stress the importance of being on the same page, having realistic expectations, and ensuring you don't get left behind because of the freedom the year imparts.
