ALSA Competition Applications

The Australian Law Students Association conference is the premier summit for law students across Australia. This year, the conference will be held in Hobart between 4-10 July. As part of the conference, a number of competitions will also be held. We are currently seeking applications for students to be part of these teams.
Registration for the competition is $900. Successful applicants will be given a subsidy of $700. You will have to pay the balance of $200. You will also be given a flights subsidy of $150.
The competitions available are:

ALSA Negotiations Competition - Competitors will be given a fictional scenario, along with confidential information. They will have to negotiate with another to attempt to reach a settled outcome. ALSA Paper Presentation Competition - In this competition, a student will prepare a substantial piece of writing and present it to a panel of judges. They will question the student on their work and assess the quality of their paper.
