The first film screening of the semester is going down on this Friday, fam. This time it’s “New Muslim Cool”. It’s focuses on the journey of Hamza Perez; a Puerto Rican American. Leaving behind his drug dealing past, he moved to Pittsburgh, rebuilding his family, establishing a Muslim community of Latinos and African Americans, and spreading the message of Islam through his words and his art. But when the FBI raided his mosque, things would have to change…
