Do you want to be part of a society that helps equip students with the skills, confidence and power to kick-start their career in the creative careers industry? Then come join the APRS (Advertising & Public Relations Society) Subcommittee Team today!

APRS are looking for passionate and enthusiastic students that are interested in the creative careers industry and are looking for an opportunity to network, develop necessary skills for the workforce as well as work with likeminded students. You do NOT have to be a PR & Advertising student!

Applications are NOW OPEN and will close on Wednesday 16 March, 5pm. Successful applicants will be contacted for an interview.

Below are the details of the responsibilities and requirements of each portfolio, although you will have the opportunity to extend your role beyond its original responsibilities.


APRS is looking to create bigger and better events, and this is where you come in! We need your support in event planning.

• Eager to learn and hardworking
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work cohesively in a team
• Have fantastic time management and the ability to multitask
• Make a great ambassador for APRS to our members and sponsors

• Assist in the planning and development of events
• Assist in setting up and the logistics of events
• Ensure that events run smoothly
• Assist with the seeking of sponsorship opportunities for events and prizes.
• Ability to cold-call potential sponsors.
• Liaise with our lovely Events Director, Bianca

Desirable, but not essential:
• Experience with planning events

• Eager to learn and hardworking
• Able to communicate, verbal and written, effectively
• Able to work cohesively in a team
• Be creative and open to new ideas

• Think of creative and effective ways of promoting the society and its events to members and potential members
• Assist with the design and creation of promotional material
• Assist with the management of newly developed website
• Assist with the management of online and social media platforms such as the APRS website, Facebook, Instagram etc.
• In charge of composing regular posts for the APRS blog.
• Liaise with our wonderful Marketing Director, Julie

Desirable, but not essential:
• Knowledge of Photoshop or other design programs
• Experience with website development
• Photography skills
