Join us for an evening of solving the world's problems over a glass of champagne.

Our special guest speakers for the night:

The Hon. Justice Lucy McCallum was sworn in as a judge of the Supreme Court of NSW in 2008. Since then, her Honour has presided over such high-profile cases as the Simon Gittany trial, earning herself the nickname 'the Energiser Bunny' for the stamina shown in handing down the 174 page judgment. Her Honour is also a staunch advocate of social justice and has represented Greenpeace, the Environmental Defender's Office, and members of the Redfern community.

Nathan Kennedy is the President of the Australian Lawyers for Human Rights. In 2011, Mr Kennedy was part of a child's rights task force that reported to the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child. In his time at ALHR, he has collaborated on submissions across the spectrum of social justice issues, from his work with refugees to same-sex marriage and anti-terrorism legislation.

Addresses will be followed by a Q&A and a chance to chat with our special guests over drinks and refreshments.
