Registration is now open for 2017 Advanced Negotiations Competition Round 1, which will be held in Weeks 3 and 4 of Semester 1. Round 2 will be held in Weeks 7 and 8.

Rounds 1 and 2 are the preliminary rounds in the competition. In teams of two, you will represent a fictitious client in a hypothetical dispute and attempt to reach a resolution with the opposing team. This competition aims to develop your practical dispute resolution skills in preparation for when you eventually move into legal practice.

You are eligible to register for the competition if you are:
- An undergraduate (LLB) student in their third year of study or above
- A postgraduate (JD) student in their third year of study or above.

You can register with a partner to compete in a team of two. If you do not have a partner, you can register individually and we will aim to match you up with someone. Do not worry if you have not negotiated before, we will provide training materials.
