Court of Conscience is UNSW Law Society’s premier social justice publication. It aims to inspire, nurture, and generate an interest in social justice in the Law Faculty and beyond. The high calibre of the publication saw it win ‘Best Equity Publication’ at both the 2015 and 2016 ALSA awards.

Joining the 2017 editorial team is an excellent opportunity to hone your research and referencing skills, as well as contribute to important discussions regarding topical social justice issues.

Editors will have a keen eye for detail, a good understanding of the AGLC and be passionate about social justice advocacy. Over the course of the year, editors will have the following key responsibilities:
• Liaising with students, academics and members of the legal profession;
• Editing and proofing articles; and
• Working within a team to launch the 11th Issue of Court of Conscience.

To apply, applicants are to send a one page cover letter, outlining their motivations and any relevant experience, to Editor-in-Chief, Ellen O’Rourke, at: courtofconscienceeic@unswlawsoc.org by 10pm on Saturday 11 March 2017.
