In 2017, SCA UNSW are focused on bringing light to important social issues both locally and internationally. This semester, our theme will be HEALTH & NUTRITION.
As young, healthy uni students (who spend way too much time snapchatting our oozing egg yolks and hitting the gym), we often overlook how blessed we are to have easy access to health professionals and fresh food and water compared to those living in third-world countries.

So how can YOU make a difference? Keep a look out for our fundraising events (#krispykreme) and socials (#socialbadminton) to raise funds and awareness about these worthy kids in countries such as Nepal and Ethiopia. There’s no better way to learn more than by popping by our O-Week stall to hear more about our 2017 goals, meet the team and grab some FREEBIES along the way!

We are also looking for O-Week Volunteers to help us run the stall. By volunteering, your hours will go towards our Volunteer Program, where by volunteering 20 or more hours with UNSW SCA, you’ll receive a formal certificate from Save The Children Australia.

It’s also an excellent way to stand out from the crowd in time for our recruitment drive, where Subcommittee Applications will be released really soon!
