Are you an international student struggling to find an internship or graduate employment? Having trouble with applications due to the restriction of Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident?
Contact Singapore is an agency of the Singapore government who is looking to assist university students in gaining industrial placement in Singapore by working with companies to offer about 100 internships across all courses of study each year. In engineering, internships range from Shell, Infineon, ExxonMobil, Keppel Offshore, Marine and other world leading companies.
Singapore has been considered the best place in Asia to live, work and play and has been called the world’s easiest place to do business! The major industries in Singapore include chemicals, electronics, financial services, IT and professional services, biomedical sciences & research, oil drilling equipment, petroleum refining, processed food and beverages, ship repair, offshore platform construction, life sciences and entrepot trade.
So make sure you come down to this invaluable talk at Columbo Theatre C on Friday the 12th of August at 1pm to hear how Contact Singapore can help secure you an industrial training position or graduate employment overseas!
This talk is open to all chemical, electrical, mechanical, civil and other engineering disciplines including postgraduates! Feel free to invite any ASEAN students or any friends from other engineering disciplines - everyone is welcome!
