CEUS AGM - Free BBQ!
13 October, 2016
Naked Lady Lawn, UNSW
Chemical Engineering Undergraduate Society
WOAH!! What a year it has been for CEUS!
We have had a massive total of 23 events ranging from BBQs, industry talks, Trivia night, Friday the 13th Cruise, First Year Camp and lets not forget our Annual Ball coming up on the 7th of October!
These enormous events don’t just happen out of thin air and are planned by the wonderful CEUS Executive consisting of students studying both Chemical Engineering and Industrial Chemistry. You may not know the entire current executive but it is one of the most rewarding and satisfying positions to enhance your university experience!
The reign of Dane and Emma is almost over and it’s time to elect the new Presidents and amazing Executive team for 2017! This year the constitution was altered to adjust to the ever changing modern society with the addition of a new Industry Liaison position, Social and Publicity Director and providing Industrial Chemists an active executive position in CEUS!
The full list of executives includes 7/8 positions:
- President/Co-Presidents (A runner up will be elected as Vice President if a singular President is elected rather than Co-Presidents)
- ARC/ENGSOC Delegate
- Industry Liaison
- Social and Publicity Director
- Industrial Chemistry Delegate (only for IC students)
And the Committee includes 8 positions:
- 1st Year Representatives – Male and Female (elected at 1st Year Camp)
- 2nd Year Representatives – Male and Female
- 3rd Year Representatives – Male and Female
- 4th Year Representatives – Male and Female
We would recommend reading the constitution below to understand fully what each position involves:
Please fill out the nomination below (includes descriptions of each position) if you are interested in joining the team! We accept three preferences so that if you aren’t voted in for your first preference you still can be voted in for another position! Remember all these positions are open to any student studying Chemical Engineering or Industrial Chemistry.
Nominations close on Tuesday the 11th of October at midnight. Voting will open from Thursday the 13th at 11.30am and will close at 1.30pm. The elected positions will be announced between 1.45-2pm at the AGM and posted online shortly after.
If any of these details change we will post in the event to make it clear.
Additionally, on the same night as the AGM (Thursday the 13th) we are hosting a massive Oktoberfest party to celebrate the end of the year and to drown our sorrows together one last time before the eternal suffering of exams/assessments:
