Add a splash of colour, a flash of light, a dash of live music and live performances and what do you get? That’s right, you get the amazing, vibrant and energetic Beams Art Festival!!

Join us as UNSW PhotoClub takes on this annual festival of light, art and performance situated in Chippendale around Central Park. There will be live music, light installations, dancers and other performers and awesome dining experiences for you and your camera to capture. Festivalgoers will also enjoy the opportunity to directly participate through hands-on art-making and workshops. This festival only comes around once per year, so don’t miss out on what’s shaping up to be an awesome night out!!

We will be meeting at the Grand Concourse in Central Station at 1730, where we will begin our outing. Look for the PhotoClub execs holding the UNSW PhotoClub flag. The closest railway station is Central and then we will take a short walk. If you are having difficulty making your way there, please do not hesitate to contact us by calling our points of contact listed above.

Please note that there will be a numerous amount of food outlets in the general vicinity of our outing, so if you wish to grab a bite to eat beforehand we recommend doing so as they will likely be inundated with other festival goers once the festival starts.

Please keep an eye on the Facebook event here on Saturday in the case of wet weather.

Please rsvp by clicking 'going' here via Facebook.
