Reviews
A well coordinated subject. Content heavy but not too difficult to get good final marks. They provided a lot of guidelines regarding the lab report but I didn't end up getting a good score :(( My top tip is to make friends from this subject and study/discuss together

Good subject - content very interesting and Chris Groot a great coordinator. Assessment was a little but tricky if you've never done a lab report before but not too hard - exam was very easy if you studied and allowed for a high grade.

Enjoyable subject. Not too difficult and a broad range of topics. Lots of support is provided to help you write your first psychological lab report.

Great intro to psychology subjects! Assessments weren't too hard (if payed attention to lectures, tutes and extra videos)! Overall, enjoyable psychology subject for me!

A pretty easy subject to ace, as long as youβve gone over all the lectures. Just be familiar with the key words in order to nail the exam. Come to tutorials as the tutors help a lot with the assignment

The only problem I had in this subject was the assignment. It was time consuming and difficult to understand. Other than than, exam is relatively straightforward and shouldn't be a problem if you know the content. Additionally, teaching staff was passionate and lectures were interesting. In my opinion practicals were quite irrelevant for the exam.

I am a mid year entry student and I didnt study MBB1. This is a heavy content subject but easy to score high subject in the final exam. The assignments were difficult as I think they didnt provide enough instructions and help. The practical was very suffering for me. idk why.. and some lecturers were terrible at teaching. Yoshi and Nick's lectures are very interesting and enjoyable.

Really easy content! Interesting introduction to psychology modules. Friends who have taken it as a breadth enjoyed it too.

best subject ive taken at uni! Super interesting and tutes were fun

A great introduction to scientific report writing with valuable feedback and easy-to-understand content throughout the subject. Lectures were interesting and my tutor was amazing, but some of the tutorials were dry. The quantitative methods part of the course were not the most entertaining but be sure to study it if you intend to do well in the exam.
