Personally did not enjoy this subject at all! However give it a go if you want to figure out if a law degree is right for you. It is only one aspect of law so if you try it, don't like it, and really thought you wanted to do a law degree, there are other law subjects to try out. I personally wouldn't recommend this one, the content was very dry and tutorials were badly coordinated. I found the readings very tedious and uninspiring. The subject description in the handbook was not representative of the reality of the subject. The subject description is much more interesting than the subject itself. If you're picking a breadth, I'd recommend giving it a miss and picking something else. Or else go to the first 1 or 2 lectures before committing to the subject.

This subject is honestly very interesting as it covers a range of laws such as defamation, copyright, breach of confidence, privacy, etc. Do take it if you're looking to pursue law in the future an want a glimpse into what it's like. It's definitely more challenging than BLAW10001 as it is no longer multichoice questions in the exams but if you're interested in doing law based subjects, I would suggest you to give it a go. The lecturer in my semester conducted the lectures really well. The tutorials however can be improved. I felt that it was very vague and not very helpful to me.. But overall, it's an intriguing subject which makes you really think.

The lecturer was hands down the most boring person in existence. All the subject matter was incredibly boring. SO many people dropped out in the first couple of weeks. Don't do it.

I basically hated this subject. It sounded interesting in the Handbook description for uni but I did not find one single individual who liked it or even really knew what was going on. The lecturers were boring and the tutorials I felt like I was learning some obscure language outside of planet Earth. The only positive was the exam was really fair and wasn't difficult.
