Reviews
I found this subject very challenging, there was a lot of material to cover and memorise. Tutors were really helpful but I found the lectures hard to follow particularly as we had a different lecturer every two or three weeks. However if you are comfortable with chemistry I would recommend it as an interesting subject

With an IB Chemistry SL background, I found this subject to be very difficult. Lots of memorization of molecules/formulas/theory. Stay on top of notes from the very beginning! Do not wait to clear up anything you don't understand very well, and do the pink booklet! For those who did the IB, the skills from IAs and prac report writing will come in quite handy for the pracs. Personally didn't find tutes very helpful. Despite the level of difficulty of the subject, it is great that I only had to do 1 semester of chem rather than 2 semesters of chem 1/2.
