The UMSU Women's department is hosting it's first Networking Night for semester two as part of the 'Women in Higher Education' celebrations.

The Networking Nights are a part of the Women's Mentoring Network, which was first established in 2012 in Women in Higher Education week (formerly known as Bluestockings Week).

Our fantastic speakers for the evening are:

Patricia Loh
Bio: Patricia graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2007 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. She worked for two years as a physiotherapist before commencing a Master of Health and Medical Law. Patricia then applied for a World Health Organisation internship, the internship lasted 9 months and was in Geneva with the Global Health Ethics Unit 2012/2013. Patricia is now working as a senior orthopaedic physiotherapist at The Alfred, and as a sessional tutor at the Monash University Centre for Human Bioethics.

Florence Leong
Bio: Florence Leong is currently a 2nd year PHD student in the Mechanical Engineering Department, majoring in the area of Surgical Robotics. Prior to the PHD studies, Florence was a Technical Project Lead in Siemens Medical Instruments, Singapore, leading the Research and Development projects.
