FINAL ACADEMIC SPEAKER SERIES EVENT AND FAREWELL FOR 2016!

To cap off a smashing 2016, we've invited the Interim Director of the Melbourne School of Government to give a closing address.

Brexit - causes and consequences
More than three months on from the historic vote for the UK to leave the European Union, pundits on all sides of the political spectrum have been gazing into their crystal balls.

Prof. Andrew Walter, a specialist in the political economy of international money and finance, is here to take us through what it all means.

Prof. Walter was Reader in International Political Economy at the London School of Economics and Political Science, where he was also Academic Director of the TRIUM Global Executive MBA Programme. He was a member of the Council of Chatham House, a leading British international relations think-tank, and was a Fellow of St Antony's College, Oxford.

This is the final regular event for MIRS in 2016. We're serving pizza to say thanks to all our members and who doesn't like a free feed? We'll all be hanging around afterwards if you want a chance to mix with the 2016 Committee and meet some of the 2017 one.
