South Lawn

Organised by:
Arts Students Society (M-ASS)

This coming Thursday is a special day, a day for friendship and compassion amongst our peers. It’s R U OK? Day, a day to remember the importance of mental health. The organisation R U OK? aims to inspire and empower everyone to meaningfully connect with people around them and support anyone struggling with life. That's why, we at M-ASS and SSS have teamed up to bring you the biggest BBQ this semester, completely free of charge - you don’t even need to be a member!

When: this Thursday, 12-2pm
Where: Electrical Engineering lawns and Centograph lawns (the grass areas from Old Quad all the way down).

We'll be joined by:
- Welfare groups; Headspace and Mental youth; a new club on campus. Both these groups have a passion for all things welfare and would absolutely love to have a chat with you!

There will also be:
- Face painting: We’ll have a team of people ready to sit down and turn your face into a work of art. Come sit down, chill out and get ready for the paint!
- Yoga: A group called the Gravity Initiative is having a yoga session. The location for the day is a mystery; extra points if you find them hehe (location tba). FYI. Gravity is a group run by students, with a focus on yoga to improve student wellbeing.

It’ll be an opportunity to kick-back, relax and enjoy the spring time with your friends whilst also dodging away from those cheeky flyers, so make sure not to miss out!

Much love,

M-ASS & SSS <3
