Solar System Walk

Along St Kilda Beach is a scale model of the solar system. In 2008 artists and scientists constructed a model of our solar system to a scale of one to one billion between St Kilda and Port Melbourne.Every metre you walk is 1,000,000 kilometres with the whole trail being 6km in total.
Meet at Sidney Myer Asia Centre Lawn at 1PM for a 1.30 departure. We'll take 2 trams to St Kilda (which will take about an hour) and the walk takes maybe a bit over an hour.
How to get home: from The Esplanade (St Kilda) - take tram 16 towards melbourne uni
