When:
1 March, 2017

Location:
Arts West Room 256, The University of Melbourne

Organised by:
International Relations Society (MELBIRS)

What should go in a draft resolution? How do I write a position paper? What even is a MUN? Don't fear! We'll be tackling these questions at our first FREE Model United Nations training session of the year!

Model UN (also called MUN) is a simulation of the committees of the United Nations and other international organisations; as a delegate, you represent a particular country and have to argue for its interests.

If you've never done MUN before, have participated in some events with UN Youth or maybe just need a refresher, this is the training for you! Each fortnight our training will progressively get more advanced, to prepare you for major MUN conferences later in the semester and year, including our very own MelbMUN!

And, if that's not enough, there'll be FREE PIZZA.

Membership of the Melbourne International Relations Society is only $5 for students. You can join online at the following link, or on the day at the event: http://mirsmembership.getqpay.com/

Exact room location to be confirmed.
