26 February, 2016

South Lawn

Organised by:
Sri Lankan Students Association (MUSLSA)

From humble beginnings in 1988, the Melbourne University Sri Lankan Student’s Association (MUSLSA) has grown to become one of the most cherished university cultural clubs in Victoria. MUSLSA owes its success at bringing the wider community together through hosting a blend of charity, social and sporting functions which attract many.

From the highly anticipated Grand Annual Ball, one of the first balls on the university calendar, to MUSLSA’s Trivia Night and Dodgeball Tournament, our committee strives to ensure there is something to absolutely everyone’s taste throughout the year. With the addition of our brand new social event ‘Amnesia’ to kick start the year, 2016 is sure to be bigger and better than ever before!

MUSLSA takes pride in maintaining a charitable focus for the club, pouring hours of work into the Annual Charity Play. All the proceeds from this event, culminated with those of our other events, will go towards Sacred Heart Orphanage in Sri Lanka. The girls of the orphanage thrive under the care of a wonderful group of nuns, and this year all funds raised will go towards the Trincomalee branch of the orphanage to kit out a new computer room for the children to use.

All MUSLSA memberships will be $10 so make sure you head down early to our stall on South Lawn on Friday 26 February to grab your own MUSLSA merchandise bag along with your membership. We’ll also be selling tickets to our first event of the year ‘Amnesia’!

Hope to see you all there,
