Hi Filmsocers!

Hope you all are ready for one last afternoon of film and pizza! For the last day of the semester, we will be screening the dark comedy:

ARSENIC AND OLD LACE (Capra, 1944)

Newlywed couple Mortimer Brewster and Elaine Harper return to their families to their homes to deliver the news. However, when Brewster discovers a corpse at the window seat at his relatives' home, he begins to realise that his aunts are homicidal maniacs.

Directed by Frank Capra, based on a play by Kesselring and starring the great Cary Grant, ARSENIC AND OLD LACE is a comedy classic that should not be missed. There is no better way to end the semester!

BUT WAIT THERE’S MORE: After the screening at ~4:30pm, we'll be heading down to the Shaw Davey Slum (5 mins walk from uni) for FREE BEER/CIDER & CHIPS and a chat about the film and Cary Grant - just follow the committee after the screening!

As always, there will be free drinks and pizza. **Note that this event is FREE FOR EVERYONE! You DO NOT have to be a member, so please invite all your friends and click attending!**

Friday 27th May, 2pm.
