CSS Melbourne

Organised by:
Commerce Students Society

You probably remember making that transition from primary to secondary school and freaking out about the mission to make new friends so you don’t go to your first few classes knowing absolutely nobody.
Well we hate to break it to you but you’re going to have to do it all over again….

Fortunately for you though, the Commerce Students’ Society is continuing to do what it does best by providing you with an action-packed week of events and socialising. CSS O-Week is an opportunity for you to join our community and meet as many people as possible before the daunting year ahead – trust us, classes are a lot more enjoyable with a few familiar faces around you.

Everything we have to offer during O-Week is completely non-exclusive. Every one of you is welcome to attend our events no matter what year or faculty you’re in

Monday 20th of February
FBE Expo
This event is organised by the faculty itself and will offer a range of stalls set up by various societies including our own.
It will be held in University Square and you will be able to sign up as a member to our society during this expo.

Tuesday 21st of February
At 10am we will begin selling tickets for our annual Commerce Camp in University Square. We sign up 50 girls and 50 boys to join us for quite possibly the best weekend of your lives – be sure to get to the line-up before 10am as this is usually a sell-out event.
CAMP IS STRICTLY 18+ and ID is required at the time of ticket purchase

Thursday 23rd of February
CSS O-Week BBQ followed by our Cultural Tour
The BBQ will commence at 12pm in Deakin Court. There will be food and drinks provided as well as a DJ pumping some ripper tunes to get you prepared for the Cultural Tour that follows.
Membership sign-ups will also be available if you missed out at the FBE Expo.

Friday 24th of February
For those lucky enough to secure a spot on our camp, buses will be departing on this day, and you will arrive back home on Sunday the 26th of February just in time for your first week of University.

More information about Commerce Camp and Cultural Tour coming soon.
In the meantime, if you have any questions or queries about O-Week or our society feel free to message us on our Facebook page!

We look forward to seeing you all to kick-off the Uni year on a high.
