Join the Art History Student Society for a unique insight into the Basil Sellers Art Prize 5 exhibition. Make the most of an exclusive behind the scenes tour led by Assistant Curator Alyce Neal before the Museum opens to the public. Alyce will provide AHSS members with first-hand experience of the curatorial process, uncovering triumphs and difficulties, whilst discussing the works on display. Morning tea and biscuits will be served.

Alyce was the Acting Assistant Curator for the Basil Sellers Art Prize 5, and a board member of SEVENTH Gallery. She has worked across a range of organisations including the Australian Pavilion at the 56th Venice Biennale, The Australian Centre for Contemporary Art, the Biennale of Sydney, Kaldor Public Art Projects, Campbelltown Arts Centre and Firstdraft. Alyce holds a Bachelor of Art Theory, UNSW (2011) and a Masters of Curating, UNSW (2015). Her recent independent projects include Hatched: National Graduate Show, Perth Institute of Contemporary Art, Perth (2016) and an upcoming exhibition Unfolding / Folding at Kings ARI, September 2016.
