M-ASS Presents: Safbari – Exploration of Local Watering Holes
24 February, 2016
The University of Melbourne

Join M-ASS on an adventure through the Parkville wilderness as we explore the best watering holes around uni. It’s the 2016 Safbari!
The inaugural M-ASS Safbari will show you all the wild animals, exotic vistas and (most importantly) cheap beer/cider that Parkville and Carlton have to offer. Our overqualified safari guides have spent years perfecting their survival techniques (and when you’re studying at unimelb you definitely need a beer or three to survive). We’ll teach you how to fend for yourself in the urban jungle – luckily you don’t need to drink your own piss.
The Safbari begins in the leafy oasis of Tsubu this Wednesday at between 2 and 3pm.
- Sturdy walking shoes
- Survival instincts
- A well-lined stomach (luckily we have a FREE BBQ 12-2 in Deakin Court)
- Safari hat + binoculars
- Camo gear
- Participation in the mystery event halfway through Safbari (ooohhh, mystery!)
Check out our massive week of O-Week events, all free for M-ASS members! You can sign up at any of our on-campus events.
