The University of Notre Dame Australia
Notre Dame Social Justice Society (NDSJS)
As you may be aware, homelessness is an important issue with increasingly alarming statistics, particularly amongst youths. Please join NDSJS in our annual Winter SleepOut in St Benedicts Courtyard to raise awareness for this issue by fundraising for Youth Off the Streets.
We will be registering the University in support of this organisation on Everyday Hero for people to donate money. There will also be the opportunity for you to join the team and get your family & friends to support you too!
More details? You've got it!
Admittance from 19:30 for a 20:00 start (lock out 8:30).
Entrance fee will be $15 with all proceeds going to Father Riley's Youth Off the Streets.
Strictly NO ALCOHOL allowed on campus. If you arrive drunk, I'm afraid we can't let you in.
ALL UNIVERSITY STUDENTS ARE WELCOME! So feel free to bring your friends (as long as they bring along a student ID).
Various activities such as trivia, movies, a guest speaker (maybe even 2!) and games to keep you entertained.
BBQ Breakfast provided
Due to possible fatigue the next day, we suggest getting to & from the SleepOut via public transport.
Method of payment: CASH on the night
Your presence will have to be verified by a certain date for catering and security purposes - so again watch this space!
Let's be honest, this is a definite must! Watch this space as we are trying to get some deals at a super cool place near by.
