Hi, I'm Taylah!

I'm a Monash student studying Law.

I recently completed a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Arts at Monash University and am admitted as a lawyer. In my final year, I wrote an honours thesis titled 'Reforms to Victorian Bail Law: A Rights-Based Analysis'.

I have around four years' experience working as a Legal Assistant / Paralegal in law firms and barristers chambers. I am currently working as a Judge's Associate at the County Court (Commercial and Criminal Divisions).

I tutor students privately in a range of subjects across universities (Monash, Deakin, ACU, UNE etc). I am also a Teaching Associate at the William Cooper Institute (Indigenous Academic Enhancement Program).

Last year, I was the Property B Tutor for the Monash Law Students' Society.

I can help you by:
- Explaining complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner;
- Reviewing your answers to practice problems / past exams and providing detailed feedback;
- Discussing issue spotting, answer structure and exam technique; and
- Assisting with understanding problem and policy based assignments and proofreading the same.

I am happy to tutor over Zoom or in person (location by agreement subject to COVID-19 restrictions). I am usually available 6pm onwards on weekdays and anytime on Saturdays and Sundays.

If you have any queries, or you are looking for tutoring in a law unit which is not listed on my ad, please do not hesitate to contact me.
